I love the weather right now. It’s late at night and very still, yet there is a dramatic thunder and lightning thing going on. It even rained earlier! Apparently I’ve missed a weather report or two… Richard says they’ve been talking about it for days. Anyhooo, it’s a nice surprise. Speaking of nice things, I think I survived The Visit Of The Mother In-law™! She flies out tomorrow afternoon. We here at danielphillip.com wish her a safe journey. It was a very pleasant visit, although a bit lengthy. If it weren’t for my lack of patience for people, well… other people, it would have been a complete success!
I think I am going to enjoy a glass of champagne tomorrow. In fact, more than one. We have so much to celebrate lately (not just surviving the house guest)! We move in 2 weeks! We already have a fridge! We are going into debt! Woooo! At least my TV will be pretty!
In other news, my iPod is in a funk. I have heard nothing but sad songs and ‘slow jams’...
Congrats on surviving! I can’t believe yall are moving already! Time flies!
