Tonight Richard brought home some fresh homemade tamales that he paid one of his co-workers to whip up for him. He was excited! He made or, erm, did up some beans and rice to go with them. And then insisted that I go and eat with him downstairs, “with the family”. Heh. The family. That would be us and the cats, but okay… I started to feel bad. So I went downstairs just as he was turning on the TV. I asked him what he was doing, as he was so insistent on my company. He made me feel GUILTY!
“Well I have to watch Entertainment Tonight and The Insider! I need to keep track for Fafarazzi! I have to keep up with Betty!”
I sighed and went back upstairs.
I know what you mean about the tv thing. Ray does it to me alllll the time. He wants me to be “present,” and close the laptop, but then he turns on the tv and ignores me.
*sigh*
