So the afternoon with Mom and dinner with a friend ended up consolidated into one dinner for three. It just took my mother too long to get here. She insisted on taking BART, and from where she’s at that’s almost two hours of train! She could have drove here in half the time… Anyway, it was fun to have my Mom meet my friend Patti. They actually got along better than I thought they would!
It was nice that the conversation didn’t revolve around the move. The funny part, although not totally unexpected was that after dinner they were both just done. Bye. Have a nice night.
Okay, well it is Desperate Housewives night!
