I got a lot done today. Nothing that'll effect anyone else, but I am excited. I was balancing my checkbook, I know, blech, when I decided I was sick of my old Quicken being so slow. I jumped through all kinds of hoops to rebuild (or clean or whatever Quicken people call it) my data file, with few results. Things were still mucky. So I decided to be a little crazy and updated from Quicken 2003 to 2005. Woo Hoo! Totally worth the time and effort. Now everything is all fast and nice and junk. I can feel the productivity in the air! Now I am hoping to keep more up-to-date since the "download transaction" process is much faster. I feel so clean with everything balanced to the penny at this moment. I know. I can be such a nerd. But hey, it makes me happy.

do you know i haven’t balanced my checkbook in almost 3 years? how scary is that? i truly admire anyone who can balance to the penny. i obviously am incapable of such things.
Posted by MC on 09/25 at 12:53 AMI just ... uh… obtained a copy of Quicken 2003. I’ve never used it before. I haven’t played around much with it yet, but I’m kind of excited to start using it. So I can have a clearer picture of just how bad my finances are.
