Whenever Richard isn’t home on time the cats get into position and stare at the door. Waiting. I guess I noticed because I had been watching the door too. Huh. Well now he’s home and a little cranky, leaving the cats and I wondering what we were waiting for…
So today has been no fun. Work was well, work. You know, that “newness” has totally worn off. Then I come home to yet another server/host issue. Apparently there is something about PHP that creates some security issue thing. *sigh*
My host has some great features for the price. Really. I don’t even use most of it (I don’t think. I’d have to read a book or two to know for sure.) But I tell ya, the service is lacking. This PHP thing they have disabled affects the functionality of my site! I understand the security thing, but don’t folks get some notice? I thought we had till the 29th. Luckily Expression Engine has the best support ever, and got me the updated files I need to exist on my newly limited, yet more secure (?) host. It seems it was all upcoming code changes anyway. So I guess it all turned out fine.
Now if I could just cheer up this man of mine.
