First of all, the call came through! Very exciting news: “I haven’t forgot about you. Looks like we found you something close. You should hear from me or the Home Office with an offer soon.”
Aaaaargh! Soon? More waiting? But this is really good news. An offer is good. And there was none of that uncomfortable pay talk when she asked what I was making, so I think it’s safe to assume it’ll be a decent offer.. OMG I cannot wait!
In other news, my parents will be here by noon tomorrow. I am excited about that too! We’ve never actually used the guest room here. Hopefully it’ll be much more pleasant than guests at the apartment… Because right after my parents comes a visit from Richard’s mom. Gah!
GREAT NEWS!!! I am excited too! Maybe I need to have a few words with the “make me an offer I can’t refuse” gods?
