It's funny. That psychic test post reminded me of my own interest in the occult back in high school. Nothing bad, I wasn't putting pins in dolls or anything. I was mostly interested in the healing properties of certain crystals and fortune telling. That's right, fortune telling. I had a crystal ball given to me by a friend, but I had no attention for gazing and meditation. I also used runes and dominos with minimal success. I was most enchanted when I discovered the Tarot. It was a beautiful deck of cards with a rich history. There were so many versions of the deck, and the meanings of the cards that it was quite overwhlming. I ended up taking a class on reading the Tarot from a woman whom (who?) I believe to this day was a highly psychic woman. At the time she had a little shop and dealt in books, stones, minerals, crystals and certain with craft supplies. I had been visiting often. She had that energy that crackled in the air (it may have been personality, like I said, I was young!)

  1. thanks for that honey, I don’t think you’ve ever shared your history with divination before smile. you should develop that talent!

I find that the success of my reading can often depend on who I’m reading for - if it’s soemone who I have a mental affinity with or who is rather ‘psychic’ themselves, the reading is often a lot more accurat and ‘unforced’. maybe that was similar to the experience you had with your teacher?
