What a great day I've had today. I woke up in a bit of a funk, but had some great news as I surfed the ol' Blogroll. Apparently I made like the 6 gazillionth comment over at Swirlspice. *takes bow* *kisses Erica's hand*. A lot of people don't know (or no-one knows) that I was a non-commenting member of Erica's readership long before my own blog was hatched. Had I been commenting all along she could easily be at 67 gazillion. One could say she was one of my 5 blog inspirations, a muse, if you will... Then, in the middle of another fantastic day working at the Mother Ship (flagship store) I actually saw another blogger*, right there in his natural habitat. Shopping. It was the strangest thing. I looked up and thought, "I recognize that guy, I should go say hi!" Then I realized I only recognized him. I do not know him. I read his blog (there is a difference). So I didn't say hi. I did however, check out his shoes. I felt they were an odd choice, but I am just a country mouse working in the big city. What the hell do I know about loudly colored footwear? (Besides, it all worked as a package. Isn't that what accessorizing is all about?) Later I was asked to "help out" at the big store again on Monday. Love it! It is so much more exciting than my own store. I think I am addicted. I will be meeting with my DM to discuss wether a move over there is in my future. I am really starting to hope so. The money thing has just got to be there though. *not linked on purpose. He's in the 'roll though. If it was really who I could swear it was...
