Sometimes work requires one to do things they wouldn't normally do. Like wake up at 5 in the morning. 5! This is the job that usually keeps me on a late shift. All of a sudden I have to be there really early. I am going to be comatose by lunchtime....i had to get up a week ago sunday at 630am to check on the progress of a program job. it sucked.
Posted by no milk on 07/26 at 12:45 PMi hear ya. i had to be up at 4:30 yesterday morning to catch a plane back home. i think that’s insult to injury—getting up before dawn to end my vacation. sigh.
were you at least doing something interesting that early at work?
Posted by MC on 07/26 at 01:28 PMMake sure you eat a small meal here and there and snack through out the days on fruits, veggies and nuts! Limit the amount of caffeine that you take in, exe Starbucks, Sodas etc.
For me, if I’m not fueling myself properly and I’m drinking coffee – I feel great for a while but then crash like a MOFO. Just a tip, this is what works for me!
Good luck with your long day!!

Posted by jesse on 07/26 at 04:05 PMI get up every Wednesday at 5:30am to be in Marietta by 7:00am to give a spill about my business in just under a minute. I do pretty good until about 3:00pm.
By the way, how do you measure magically deliciousness?
