Today I am supposed to be resting. I am really trying. Other than my damn cough I really don’t feel that sick. I’m mostly just bored. I have zero attention for TV right now. I am supposed to be resting so I can’t do any chores around the house. That leaves the computer. I think I have read every blog on my ‘roll twice today. But I haven’t commented on anything (no attention span). *sigh*
So we had some Chinese takeout for dinner last night. It was my idea. We used to have this great place we went to in San Mateo, great food but a little stingy with the hot & sour soup. We used to lie and tell them we were buying for six so they’d stop questioning our order! Anyway, we’re at the new place last night and we were gonna order drinks while we waited for our food. Richard stopped me though. He said I shouldn’t because I was on medication. This old woman poped in from nowhere and announced “I bet I’m on more medication than he is, and I’ve had a few!”
It took a while to get rid of her once she got to going, but I wished her a nice evening and ordered my wine. My medication has no such restriction, I read all my documentation thankyouverymuch. Besides, I’m the one hacking up my spleen. I think I deserve a drink!
