I am so depressed I don’t know what else to say…

Thanks to trashtastic for cheering me up via the IM technology.

  1. Do you think that maybe they are trying to get you back for looking for another job? Other prospective employers are most likely to have contacted them about your work history. I know at my company if anyone contacts them about an employee looking for another full-time job, they will fire you for “seeking other full-time employment on a daily basis”, even if it was only one job you applied for and didn’t even get. Happened to a friend of mine. . Sad, isn’t it?

Good luck. I hope you get them before they get you!

  3. I’m sorry you are feeling low. I’m with Betty, find someone higher up to talk to, maybe that will help.

    Or egg her car.

    Feel better. smile

  4. Daniel, seriously…just keep looking for something new and ride itout with dignity. You can always file for uemployment!  I’ve been through the demoralization ride in corporate America before. It’s no fun, but every single time I’ve come out of it a better man.

Between your craziness and mine (coke addict boss that threatens my life) we could totally have a ‘road show’!

    Buck up, buddy!

  5. I am with Betty and TJ. It is what I have been saying for a year now. You can not say here fold this shirt and when it is wrong just say ” no thats wrong ” and walk away. Where is the documentation that I did it wrong and you as my Manager showed me how to do it right. It is up to the upper management to coach and train. This has not happened. How can you be held accountable for what you have no control over ?? When the feed back is always on the negative how does one become better ??  Have I done it wrong ?? Do you not want me in the building ??  MAKE THE CALL….

  6. In a way I’m with Betty, TJ and Richard. On the other hand, I know I wouldn’t want to stay in a place with a boss like that - even if things got better. I suggest doing what you feel is the best thing for you. It’s your sanity that’s on the line here.

  7. Oh sweetie!  I’ve so been there and I so feel you.  And I’m no help at all because I just dropepd out of the rat race and deceided to have kids instead.

We could always tampoon your boss.  I bet Betty could work that magic for you.
