imageIt has been hot here. Not hot like Texas, but this very humid Florida style heat. I hate it. And they say say it gets hotter. Much hotter. Ugh.

Well, last night it was like 83 degrees in the apartment. 83 sticky degrees at 10:30 at night. Not good. I had to turn on the air. I know, it wasn’t that hot, you wimp but this is my story. So I had the air on, and it was really getting comfortable, when Richard came home. He’s the power miser. I turn it on, he’ll run behind me and shut it off. Lights, fans, and especially the air conditioner or heater. Last night was different. He was without air conditioning all day at work. 95 degrees and retail? Yeah, he was happy to have it on. In fact it was on all night! Yikes. Even I’m worried about the bill!

But I got the best sleep. Better than any night the past few weeks. I ♥ air conditioning!

  1. Mr. Hed does that too!  60 degrees in the winter, and no cooler than 79 in the summer!  And the air can only go on if the temperature goes up past 100 degrees!  That’s an order!  I have a nickname for him:  Praggie.  So damn pragmatic, well, it should just be his name!

We’re moving to SD next year. I demand that it be cool! *waves my magic wand*

    Did it work???

  4. air conditioning is the best thing ever.  i say this even though we live in a house without it (and i couldn’t use it anyway, so my doctor’s ordered).  but whenever the girlfriend and i stay in a hotel, it’s like 65 degrees in our room, cuz hell, we’re not paying for it!  but i am weird about the heat during the winter months.  i grew up in a house where the heater didn’t turn on unless it was below 55.  but the girlfriend freezes in anything less than 70, so i’m learning to let the heater stay on at night.

but i am jealous that you have air conditioning in your house.  i’m scared of it though, it would probably triple our electric bill.
