I love these moments. Richard and I spent the whole day together. We slept in, did some errands, had cocktails and hors 'devours, and now we are at home. I am posting, and my man is out on the porch sipping some wine and reading a magazine. It is a beautiful day here. All the flowers in the landscape are blooming, the sun is shining, and there is a slight breeze. I really need to enjoy our time here, as I just heard that our complex may be sold by next year. If we can renew our lease (luckily we have almost a year left) rent will be much higher. If we can't renew, that means they will be selling the units as condos. As beautiful as they are, and as much as we love the location, we'd never want to buy it. They are way too cheaply made. It's sad because it really is a perfect unit/location/setting for us. We do have a lot of time, but I'd like to decide when I want to move, not have my hand forced. We just need to get ready to buy something I guess. We are at that time of life and all..

  1. I know what you mean.  We’re kind of at that point as well, but any place in Manhattan or anywhere close is like $1.6 million for a 1-bedroom apartment.  Very discouraging.
